The answer to does hhc show up in a drug test is unknown as there are no evidences yet to support any claim. HHC actually has a similar chemical structure like delta 8 or 9. The cannabinoid can metabolise the same way. So when you are given a drug screen, the test is mainly designed to analyse the urine, blood and saliva for these metabolites, most analyse specimens for THC-COOH metabolites.
However, HHC does not share the same THC designation and so there is a rumour that it won’t be picked up on a drug test but due to chemical makeup of cannabinoid and how it metabolises, it is considered to cause a drug test failure.
